All proteins are made up of different amino acids. However, plant proteins usually lack BCAAs (branched chain amino acids), which are important building blocks of proteins and which our bodies need. Athletes even consume additional BCAAs during training for better athletic performance. That's why we've added plant-based BCAA amino acids to ICONFIT Plant Protein to achieve an even more complete protein.
We also specially added vitamin B6 to the product, as it is often not present in sufficient quantities in a plant-based diet. Vitamin B6 plays a very important role in our body. It contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism, functioning of the nervous system, psychological functions, normal formation of red blood cells, functioning of the immune system and regulation of hormonal activity. It also helps reduce fatigue and exhaustion.

The product also contains Maca root powder, which has a positive effect on the body. It is very rich in vitamin C, copper, iron, vitamin B6 and essential fatty acids (Omega 3 and Omega 9). Maca contains significant amounts of 18 amino acids, 7 of which are essential amino acids. In addition to all this, it also contains plant sterols that help the body produce appropriate levels of hormones and help regulate cholesterol levels. Inulin is a beneficial prebiotic fiber derived from the prized chicory root. Being a fiber, inulin stimulates bowel movements, which is important for overall gut health. It is very important to achieve a good balance between the amount of fiber and liquid. Inulin is an indigestible water-soluble fiber, and when this fiber mixes with water or other fluids in the body, it turns into a gel. This gel mass makes the emptying of the stomach much slower and thus the stomach stays full longer. Fiber also helps to stabilize blood sugar fluctuations, which in turn help to keep overeating under control and thus help to make better food choices.
