To heat the eye mask, heat the product in a microwave oven on a rotating plate at 500-600W for a maximum of 10 seconds. Remove the mask from the microwave; if necessary, heat it further in 5-second intervals until the desired temperature is reached. Do not exceed 30 seconds. Allow the mask to cool before use if it is too hot.

To cool, keep the mask in the freezer for 1-2 hours. Make sure that the beads inside are soft, not frozen. For a more intense effect, use the gel side; place the soft side over the eyes for easier cooling.
