ICONFIT beta-alanine is an amino acid that is synthesized in the liver and can also be obtained from the diet by eating animal foods such as beef and chicken. After consumption, beta-alanine combines with histidine (an essential amino acid used in protein biosynthesis) in muscles and other organs to form carnosine. Beta-alanine promotes the synthesis of carnosine in the body, which helps prevent an increase in acidity in the muscles during exercise and thus helps reduce muscle fatigue. This way, you will get the most out of your training and achieve your goals of increased strength and endurance. Beta-alanine has been shown to increase muscle endurance during 1-10 minutes of high-intensity exercise.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Beta-alanine helps the body produce carnosine, which acts as a natural lactic acid buffer within meat. As the amount of carnosine in the muscle increases, so does the muscle's ability to maintain a reasonable PH level (acidity). When you do heavy training, it plays an even more important role in building muscle endurance and strength.
