Silicon has a good ability to transport nutrients to both hair cells and hair roots and to bind water and keratin. As the amount of silicon in the body decreases with age, it is important to maintain optimum levels of silicon in the body for the good health not only of the hair but also of the skin and nails.

Lucerne is a unique plant that is rich in vitamins, minerals and proteins. Alfalfa which contains vitamins A, C, E and K, as well as antioxidants to help fight hair loss and premature ageing of the skin.

Zinc is an essential mineral for normal cell development. Normal levels of zinc in the body reduce premature greying and hair loss. Zinc is also essential for the synthesis of keratin.

Vitamins B3, B5, B6 and B8 all help to ensure good blood supply to the hair follicles, strengthen the hair follicle and inhibit hair loss.
