Raw iron is an essential trace element for our body. It is contained in haemoglobin proteins, which are an integral part of red blood cells and play a role in transporting oxygen around the body. Iron deficiency leads to a lack of oxygen in the cells, causing, for example, fatigue. During menstruation (and especially during heavy menstruation), women experience iron loss. This phenomenon also occurs in people who have blood loss, for example after an accident or surgery. In addition, athletes also have a high iron requirement due to repetitive exertion requiring a good oxygen supply. Due to growth, particular attention needs to be paid to iron intake in children and adolescents. BIOCYTE has developed a microencapsulated supplement to optimise assimilation. Fe iron is made from microencapsulated iron, which allows this mineral to pass through the gastric barrier without being damaged and is absorbed directly into the blood.
The supplement also contains vitamin B12 (or cyanocobalamin) and vitamin C. It can be absorbed by the body through the intestinal tract. The B12 molecule is essential for red blood cell formation and cell renewal, and vitamin C, is known for its energetic properties.

1 capsule daily, with a glass of water at mealtime.

Ingredients (1 capsule): UltraFER® microencapsulated iron [ferric pyrophosphate (of which iron 14 mg, 100% NRVs*); Emulsifiers: sucrose fatty acid esters, lecithins]; L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C 80 mg, 100% NRVs*); Capsule shell (gelatin); Maltodextrin; Emulsifier: magnesium salts of fatty acids; Anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide [nano]; Cyanocobalamin (of which vitamin B12, 1.25 μg, 50% NRVs*).
