Severe but benign facial redness is a flushed discolouration of the facial skin (mainly the nose and cheeks). The change in skin colour, which initially appears as a transient flushing, tends to be permanent and the skin becomes blotchy due to the continuous dilatation of small blood vessels. Chronic congestion leads to a sensation of stinging, burning and redness. Persistent facial blushing develops and worsens under the influence of various environmental factors, such as sunlight, sudden temperature changes, spicy food, hot or alcoholic drinks, emotions, stress. Erythema is more common in thin and fair skin and usually worsens in older age if left untreated.

Quasix®s products are based on the interaction of four ingredients:
• Bitter quassia tree (Quassia amara) extract has anti-parasitic and anti-bacterial properties, which are particularly effective in the treatment of persistent redness with scabs and/or pustules. In addition, bitter quassia tree extract is known to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Nicotinamide (vitamin B3) is a potent anti-inflammatory that helps to maintain the skin’s overall protective function.
• Glycerol is a skin moisturizer that binds water in the skin.
• Sorbitol helps to maintain the skin’s optimal moisture balance.

Indications.

Apply a thin layer twice daily to dry, clean skin in need of care. Once the cream is fully absorbed, you can apply cosmetics.

Keep at a temperature below 25°C.
