Bio-Oil is applied to the problem area twice daily for a minimum of three months. The skin should be gently massaged with fingertips in a circular motion until the product is fully absorbed.

Remember that scars are inherently permanent and although Bio- makes them less noticeable, it will never permanently erase them. Final results will vary depending on the skin problem and the user. During pregnancy, from the second trimester onwards, apply Bio-Oil to areas of the body where stretch marks may develop.

Bio-Oil’ is easily absorbed and has a non-greasy consistency. It is hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin. Bio-Oil’can be used on the face or body.

For external use only. Do not use on broken skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Results vary from individual to individual. Keep cool and out of direct sunlight.

Bio-Oil has passed several skin tests and is hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin. If skin irritation does occur during use, the user is likely to have a rare hypersensitivity to some of the allergens in the product. Most allergy symptoms will resolve within 2–3 days after discontinuation of use.

Bio-Oil does not bleach tattoos.
Bio-Oil can be applied to the skin around the eyes or on the lips.
Bio-Oil’s should not be used on the mucous membranes of the genital area, nor is it recommended for use on incision scars.
Bio-Oil skin care product is 100% safe to use while breastfeeding, but is not recommended for use on nipples.
May be used in children two years of age and older. If this is the case, the product should be applied carefully to the skin and it is recommended to avoid the eye or mouth area.
