The rapid healing of pimples is achieved thanks to the antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects of the hydrocolloid dressing and salicylic acid.

A hydrocolloid dressing is a sterile absorbent layer used to support wound healing. When placed on the pimple, it creates an environment that helps the skin recover faster.

Salicylic acid is obtained from willow bark or birch bark. It is anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and fat-soluble - which means that it does not only work on the surface of the skin, but also penetrates the pores, dissolving sebum and removing dirt and blockages from the inside.
