A conditioning hair oil containing specially selected cottonseed, grapeseed, hempseed and soybean oils. The oil seals hair follicles, providing intense moisture and a protective barrier for highly porous hair. The oil restores water-lipid balance and prevents hair loss. Makes brittle and fragile hair more elastic and shiny.
Hair porosity is the hair’s ability to absorb moisture. Hair porosity is related to the cuticle layer of the hair. Porous hair absorbs water easily due to a damaged or exposed cuticle. Hair with low porosity is considered to be very resistant and tough. They require more alkaline preparations than highly porous hair, because the alkaline preparation swells the hair and makes it easier to open the hair cuticle. Medium porosity hair is called normal and does not require any special treatment. High porosity hair is often the result of over-treatment.
