Chemi-Pharm Sterisept Instru, Cleaning and disinfection of instruments

Sterisept Instru is a concentrated solution. The dosage depends on the efficacy required (see table).
Disinfection and cleaning in ultrasonic bath:
Sterisept Instru is a concentrated solution. To prepare a working solution, dilute the required concentration with water (at room temperature). For example, dilute 5 ml of Sterisept Instru in 995 ml of tap water to obtain a 0.5% working solution..

After use, immediately disassemble the instruments as completely as possible and place them in the Sterisept Instru working solution. Clean mechanically if necessary. Ensure that all surfaces are completely covered by the solution, avoiding the formation of bubbles. After the recommended exposure time, rinse all instruments thoroughly under running water using at least drinking water quality water.
Disinfection and cleaning in an ultrasonic bath:

Sterisept Instru’t can also be used in all stainless steel ultrasonic baths. Follow the exposure time specified by the instrument manufacturer and do not heat the working solution.
Always follow the instrument manufacturer’s reprocessing instructions..

The ready-to-use working solution can be used for 14 days, but change the already used solution daily or as soon as it is visibly contaminated. Store in closed containers at room temperature.
Note – Sterisept Instru’t can not be used with aldehyde-based preparations, so avoid using products containing aldehydes before and after disinfection with Sterisept Instru’t..
